Disaster at Pompey
Pompey is a part of Italy near Naples. It is a high tourist attraction due to the large, one thousand years overdue volcano called Vesuvius. However, this isn’t the only attraction, and is in fact, the lesser of the two Pompey has to offer. In the little town of Pompey, a tourist can expect to find a dusty, hot, even deserted like town, and the small matter of petrified people!
A few centuries ago, mount Vesuvius erupted, and it wasn’t the hot lava that killed off the inhabitants, but the intense gases and ash. The ash spread around the town and petrified the people and creatures unfortunate enough to be in that blast.
