As the summer approaches, my friends are starting to ask me where we should go on holiday this year. For some people, the summer is the only time to go away and therefore the most exciting time of the year. The question of course is… where shall we go?

First of all let me tell you I am not the biggest fan of ‘lads holidays’. I’m more of a cities break kind of guy rather than 18-30′s brits abroad lad. But when it comes to lads holidays in Europe, there are a handful of locations often thrown around. Tenerife, Zante, Kos, Magaluf and Malia have been the latest hits over the last 5 years. But does it really matter which one you go to?

Lets be honest, as long as its got a strip full of bars, a beach full of girls in bikinis and a bit of sun, the majority of lads would say that’s the perfect lads holiday destination. I’ve not personally been to all the 5 locations mentioned above, but I feel pretty confidant in saying that they are all the same. Full of brits, with English promoters on the street literally dragging you into their bars with drinks offers.

Does destination matter for a lads location? Not in the slightest.
